Adeline McLeod Wild (1848 – 1922)

Adeline (twin) was born on 30/09/1848 at “Vanderville” The Oaks and baptised on 02/10/1848 in Picton.

​She married on 09/10/1867 at St. Matthews, The Oaks, to John James Howell. John was born on 27/05/1846 at Bombowlee, Tumit NSW and christened in Yass on 05/07/1846 at the Church of England.

​They had the following children:

  • Adeline Howell (1870 – 1955)

  • Nellie Antill Howell (1871 – 1957)

  • John James Howell (1873 – 1915)

  • Lionel Mileham Howell (1876 – 1945)

  • Sidney Herbert Howell (1877 – 1877)

  • Emmeline Wild Howell (1880 – 1955)

​John died on 29/04/1904 in Burwood.
Adeline died on 22/08/1922 in Parramatta Hospital and is buried in the C/E section of Burwood.

John James Howell (1873 – 1915)

John was born in Cooma on 10/09/1873.

He died on 12/09/1915 in Garrison Hospital Victoria Barracks, Paddington.

 He is buried in Rookwood C/E section.

Lionel Mileham Howell (1876 – 1945)

Lionel was born on 27/03/1876 in Cooma.

He married on 12/04/1921 in Burwood to Gladys Mary Kent.
Gladys was born in Canterbury on 03/12/1886.

​Lionel died on 04/01/1945 in Vaucluse.
Gladys died on 21/12/1958 also in Vaucluse.

​There are no records of children.

Sidney was born on 27/10/1877 in Cooma and died there as well on 22/12/1877.
