John was born on 23/04/1855 in Falkirk, Stirling, Scotland.

Mary was born on 19/01/1891 in Newtown NSW.

She married in Marrickville on 04/09/1919 to George Norrish. George was still married to Muriel I V Tubbenhauer with whom he had 3 children.

Not much is known about the whereabouts of George, except the fact that he deserted the family in 1923.

Mary died in Hurstville on 04/02/1956.
