Joseph George Teale (1864 – 1938)

On the picture  George is captured as a worker for the Council of Wilberforce.
The family moved later to Botany area and where, according to the electoral roll, his occupation is listed as furrier.

Joseph was born in Wilberforce on 22/10/1864. He married on 19/11/1890 in Newcastle NSW to Isabella Reay.

Isabella was born in Newcastle on 20/07/1872

They produced the following children:

  • Alexander Joseph Teale (1891 – 1968)

  • Josephine Teale (1893 – 1980)

  • Henry Gorrick Teale (1894 – 1955)

  • Lancelot Roland Teale (1896 – 1969)

  • John Teale (1898 – 1945)

  • Blanche Fairburn Teale (1908 – 1963)

Joseph died in Botany on 03/04/1938 and was cremated in Rookwood.

Isabella died 22/12/1942 in Drummoyne.

Josephine Teale (1893 – 1980)

Josephine was born in Windsor on 07/11/1893.

She married Robert Oswald Holland on 29/04/1916 at St Matthews C/E in Windsor.

Robert was born on 03/02/1890 in Freemans Reach.

They both died in Drummoyne, Robert on 11/11/1978 and Josephine on 16/12/1980.

 

Blanche Fairburne Teale (1908 – 1963)

Blanche is born on 23/12/1908 in Windsor.

On 25/04/1925 (age 16) she married John Francis Richard Lucas, born in 1906 in Sydney.

They had 2 children:

  • Raymond John Lucas – married in 1962 Parramatta to Carolynne Joan Nash.

  • Francis John Lucas – married to Pauline Audrey Vincent in 1954 in Five Docks.

On 01/11/1963 (age 54) Blanche died in Drummoyne. No records of John Lucas.
