AN ENGAGEMENT

The engagement is announced of Sarah j Beverley, daughter of Mrs John Crothers, ot Charters Towers, and grand-daughter of the late R. Crothers, well-known pastoralist, to Leading Aircraftsman Malcolm Hamilton Murray Maclean. R.A.A.F., eldest son of Mr and Mrs H. A. Maclean, of Wongadoo station, Baralaba, via Rockhampton.

​He married to Sarah Beverley Crothers in Windsor in 1942. Sarah was born in Queensland on 07/03/1918.

​Malcolm was killed in action on 05/03/1945 in Limburg, Belgium and is burried at Leopoldsburg War Cemetery in Belgium.

Sarah died in Good Shepherd Home Annandale QLD on 08/03/2009 and is buried in Annadale.
