Barbara was born in Gulgong on 12/10/1907.

​She married to Cecil James Sharrock in Rylstone in 1925. Cecil was born in Gulgong on 03/06/1904.

They had the following children:

• Leo Bernard George Sharrock (1926 – 2006)

• Ailsa Joan Sharrock (1928 – 2002)

• Vilma Maud Sharrock (  ?   – 2011)

​Barbara died on 27/11/1973 in Cronulla.

The marriage between Barbara and Cecil ended in divorce around 1930. Cecil remarried in 1943 to Eileen May Lear and in 1951 in  Redfern to Valerie Jamieson. He died in Redfern on 01/10/1979.
