June was born 14/06/1931 and baptised on 05/07/1931 in St. Peters, Cooks River.

​She married in 1948 in Kogarah to William George Norman when she was 17 years. This marriage didn’t last long. June was living on her own as shown on the electoral rolls of 1954 and 1958.

In 1967 June married in Kogarah to Neville Earl McNiven. Neville was born in Lismore on 28/09/1919. He was married before (in 1950) to Valerie Evelyn May Morris.

On the electoral roll of 1980 June and Neville are listed on Barton Street, Kogarah, together with Roddy Earl and James Neville,
