Elsa was born in Dubbo on 10/08/1910.

​She married to Laurence George Avery in 1928 in Canterbury. Laurence was born in Marrickville on 22/02/1906.

They had the following children:

• Frederick Jackson Avery (1928 – 1997)

• Patricia Avery (1932 –       )

• Meryl Avery (1935 –       )

​After their divorce Elsa married in Rockdale in 1960 to Robert M Houston.

​Laurence remarried to hazel Kay in 1947, Manly.

​Elsa died in Como on 03/02/1975.

Robert died on 11/01/1978 in Como.

Laurence died in Wollongong on 19/02/1985.
