Clarence was born in Windsor on 23/02/1837 and baptised on 26/03/1837 at St. Matthew’s Windsor.

He married Christine Beaton (born 1840 in Gairlock, Ross Shire, Scotland) on 17/05/1865 in Surat, QLD.

They produced the following children:​

• Edna Kate Gaudry (1868 – 1907)

• Emmeline Amelia Guadry (1870 –  ?  )

• James Clarence Gaudry (1872 – 1915)

​The children are born in Queensland. Christine died 21/12/1873 in Surat QLD.

Christine Beaton (1840 – 1873)

Before her marriage to Clarence she was marrried to James Weir on 27/08/1858 in Drayton QLD, with whom she had 3 children:

• John Alexander Weir (1859 – 1890)

• Christina Weir (1861 – 1951)

• Jemima Isabelle Weir (1864 – 1941)

 James Weir was born in Aberdeen Scotland in 1826 and died on 15/03/1864 in Surat QLD.
Jemima is often mentioned in the Ancestry trees as a child of Clarence and Christina. ​We can only assume that she (and her 2 siblings) were adopted in the Gaudry family.

After the dead of his brother William Littleton Gaundry in 1887 and his wife Cristine Beaton in 1873, Clarence Fitzroy Gaudry married his brother’s widow Margaretta Lohnart in 1888 in Gulgong.

Together the had the following children:

• Clarence Fitzroy Gaudry (1889 – 1969)

• Arthur Randolph Gaudry (1892 – 1975)

• Margaret Lavinia Gaudry (1895 – 1985)

• Maude Agnes Gaudry (1902 – 1950)

​Clarence died on 10/10/1924 in Gulgong and is buried there as well.

Margaretta died on 24/04/1950 in Auburn and is buried in Rookwood.
