Owen was born in Beecroft on 10/03/1917.

​He married to Ethel Marie Hannaford in 1940 in Mosman.
Ethel was born on 16/02/1914 in St Leonards.

​They had 4 children.

Ethel died on 03/02/2004 in Bateau Bay.

Owen died in Tarragal House Nursing Home Erina on 10/06/2008.
