Not much is written or available about the family picnic at the banks of Hawkesbury river in Windsor on the 28th of January 1968, the day after the Georgian House reunion.
There was a mention in the Sydney Morning Herald of Friday 26/01/1968 as part of an article in relation to the Georgian House gathering.
The top section relates to the Georgian House event on Saturday the 27th of January 1968.
It reads (the lower section):
“A big gathering. But Sunday will be larger. At the foot of Kable Street, Windsor, on the banks of the Hawkesbury, 200 members of the Kable family will picnic outdoors.
And later, some will go to the churchyard of St. Matthews, to stand by the graves of Henry and Susannah, who were buried side by side”.
