Oswald Joseph Byrne (1867 – 1939)

Oswald was born in Windsor on 30/03/1867.

He married to Mary Ellen Magdalen Maher in Taree on 15/04/1890. Mary was born on 23/01/1872 in Millflat, Williams River.

​They had the following children:

  • William Oswald Byrne (1899 – 1967)

  • Reginald Joseph Byrne (1901 – 1956)

  • Edgar James Byrne (1904 – 1950)

  • Oswald Rowland Byrne (1905 – 1992)

  • Thomas Daniel Byrne (1908 – 1984)

​Mary died on 18/06/1830 in Byron Bay.

Oswald died in Lismore on 20/11/1939.

Edgar James Byrne (1904 – 1950)

Edgar was born in Ballina on 27/07/1904.

​He never married. In the Electoral roll of 1949 for Byron Bay he was living on his own.

​Edgar died in Brisbane on 15/11/1950 and is buried at Lutwyche Cemetery Brisbane.

Oswald Rowland Byrne (1905 – 1992)

Oswald was born in Ballina on 13/08/1905.

​He married to Rachel Lilian Maud Rose (born in 1911) in Byron Bay on 07/12/1929.

​Oswald died in Kingscliff on 24/01/1992.
Rachel died in Tweeds Head on 29/06/2002.
Both are buried at Tweed Heads Memorial Gardens and Cemetery, Tweed Heads South, New South Wales, Australia.

Thomas Daniel Byrnes (1908 – 1984)

Thomas was born on 13/07/1908 in Ballina, Alstonville.

​He married to Caroline Mildred Maybell Hayes in Chatswood on 19/07/1947.
Caroline was born in Redfern on 25/02/1915 and this was her 2nd marriage,

​Thomas died in Wyong on 25/06/1984.
Caroline died in Newcastle on 30/06/1997.
