Benjamin Thomas Cannon (1881 – 1962)

Benjamin was born in Cowra on 07/10/1881.

​He married to Norah Jane Byrne in Cowra on 22/11/1906.
Norah was born in Liverpool NSW on 04/09/1873.

​They had the following children:

  • James Geoffrey Cannon (1907 – 1989)

  • Clarice Margaret Cannon (1909 – 1980)

  • Harold Thomas Cannon (1910 – 1910)

​Norah died in Cowra on 05/04/1911 and is buried at Morongla Creek Cemetery, New South Wales.

In 1914 in Cowra Benjamin remarried to Elizabeth Mounsey Adams. She was born in Goulburn in 1873.
​Elizabeth died in District Hospital Cowra on 02/02/1924 and is buried at Morongla Creek Cemetery, New South Wales.

 

In January 1934 Benjamin remarried to Jessie Hermansson (nee Simmonds). She was born in 1880 and died on 26/09/1940 in Cowra.

In 1943 Benjamin remarried again in Randwick to Amy Winifred Strahan. Amy was born in Moruya in Aug 1892.

​

At the time of her marriage she was a Postal assistant.

​Amy died in Lakemba on 05/07/1967.
​Benjamin died in Lakemba on 30/12/1962.

James Geoffrey Cannon (1907 – 1989)

James was born in Peak Hill in 1907.

​He showed up on the electoral rolls together with his father, both as blacksmith.
James last mention was in the electoral roll of 1943 were he was listed as a fitters assistant, on the same address as his father the blacksmith.

James died in 1989 in NSW, registered as:

Clarice Margaret Cannon (1909 – 1980)

Clarice was born in Cowra on 06/12/1909.

​She married to Eric Victor Glanville in St Peters in 1929. Eric was born on 28/11/1907 in Cootamundra.

​They had 3 children:

  • Ronald James Glanville
  • Eric John Glanville
  • Margaret Fay Glanville

​Clarice died in Peakhurst on 17/01/1980.
Eric died on 30/07/1984 in Rockhampton, Queensland, late of Peakhurst.

Ronald married in 1965 in Rockdale to Dorothy Lila Whittaker.

Eric John Glanville

Eric married in 1957 in Petersham to Norma May Johnson.
They had 2 daughters.
Norma died on 27/03/2017 in Petersham.

Margaret Fay Glanville

Margaret married in 1951 in Marrickville to Leslie Roy Alexander. Leslie was born in 1926 and died in Bathurst on 03/05/2017.

Harold Thomas Cannon (1910 – 1910)
