William was born in Calcoar in 1897.
He married to Ivy May Upward in Wollongong in 1923. Ivy was born in Woonona on 10/09/1902 and is baptised on 15/10/1902 at St Michael’s in Wollongong.

Ivy died on 12/10/1962 at Lewisham Hospital, late of Enfield.
William died on 16/11/1964 at Western Suburbs Hospital, late of Enfield and is buried at Field of Mars Cemetery in East Ryde,
Fonda Josephine Murphy (1922 – 1969)
Fonda was born in 1922.
She married to Godfrey Daniel Nicholls in 1947 in Burwood.
Fonda died in Ryde in 1969.
Kathleen Patricia Murphy (1923 – 1967)
Kathleen was born in 1923.
She married to Leonard Alfred Buchanan in 1947 in Burwood. Leonard was born in the 4th quarter of 1916 in Southwark, Greater London,England. He arrived with his parents and 2 sisters in Australia after leaving London on 26/08/1921 on board the “Euripides”.
Kathleen died in Parramatta on 18/01/1967.
Leonard died on 08/08/1982 in Parramatta.
Edward John Murphy (1924 – 1972)
Edward was born in Wollongong on 19/09/1924.
He married to Gloria Hazel Jones in Sydney in 1957. Gloria was born in 1928.
They had 3 children:

Edward died on 04/07/1972 in Liverpool hospital, late of Hillview.
Gloria died on 12/06/1979 in Sydney.
