Elizabeth was born in Bathurst on 23/12/1856.
Her birth certificate mentioned that there was a girl deceased as previous children from her parents. There are no other records to confirm this.

She married to George Johnson on 01/07/1875 in All Saints, Bathurst. George was born in White Rock on 18/12/1854 and baptised on 14’01/1855 in Bathurst.
Note the different hand writings on the register.

They had 1 child:

• William James Johnson (1875 – 1945)

​They divorced in 1893.

George died in White Rock on 01/05/1937.

​Elizabeth married in 1894 in Sydney to Arthur Elford, born in 1858.
​Arthur died in North Sydney on 11/06/1934.

Family story/history by Pam O’Brien:
Elizabeth Thompson was my great grandmother’s (Anne Florence Thompson)older sister . She married Arthur Elford in 1894 when she was 37 .They had no children . They brought up Arthur’s nephew Norman Elford because his parents had divorced . He became my grandfather because he married my great grandmother’s only daughter Eileen Doris Lowe.

Elizabeth died in Ashfield on 16/11/1941.
Both are buried at Macquarie Park Sydney.
