George John Tuckwell (1891 – 1957)
George John Tuckwell was born on 06/11/1891 in Yass. On his birth record only his mother is mentioned as Susannah. He was born as John and changed the name to George John at the time of his adoption (see above).
On 27/09/1913 he married Una McDonald Walker in Windsor in St. Matthews Church of England. Una was his first cousin, born in Windsor on 23/08/1889, daughter of his (adoptive) mother’s sister “Polly”.
