Freda was born in Newtown on 20/06/1900.

​She married to William Frederick Olsson in Paddington on 31/12/1919. William was born in Wall VIC on 12/03/1885.

​They had 2 children:

• Beverley Olsson (1924 – 1993)

• Lorraine Olsson (1926 – 2007)

​William died in Sydney on 23/04/1974.

Freda died on 29/08/1990 in North Bondi.

married in 1920 William Frederick Olsson.

People HAD to retire at 65, and she had worked for many years in the cut glass department at Saunders, the jewellers in King Street, which was later taken over by Angus & Coote. They said farewell to her and she walked round to David Jones, put her age down ten years and landed a job in the handbag department. The day of reckoning came when they did find out her age, but she was so good at sales that they kept her on. She did not retire as such until she was 77. During the Depression she worked as a wool-classer, and she used to sell insurance for AMP. Her first job was as a maid in a doctor’s house at the grand old age of 13.

She died 29/08/1990 in North Bondi.

Beverley Olsson (1924 – 1993)

Beverley was born in 1924.

She married to Phillip Thomas Holding in 1945 in Victoria. Phillip was born on 01/04/1923 in Richmond VIC.

They have 3 sons:

• Brian David Holding
• Phillip Ronald Holding
• Raymond John Holding

Beverley died on 24/10/1993.

Lorraine Olsson (1926 – 2007)

Lorraine was born in 1926.

She married to William Allan Grant (1921 – 1999) in 1947 in Sydney.
