Icy was born on 11/11/1896 in Lower Portland. On New Years Day 1921 she married in Windsor to Clement Joseph Lavender, born in North Richmond on 25/07/1893.

Clement served in Belgium and France with the 13th Australian Infantry Battalion.
Disembarked in Melbourne from France per Hired transport “BOONAH” on 20.10.1918
Discharged in Sydney 13.12.1918.

Lavinia Maisie Lavender (1922 – 2010)

Lavinia was born in Windsor on 30/05/1922.​
She married to Mervyn Samuel Best in 1944 in North Sydney. Mervyn was born in Bellingen on 31/08/1913.
He was married before (in 1934) to Eileen May Walsh (1913 – 2000).

​Lavina and Mervyn had 2 children:

  • Barry Peter Best (1951 –       )

​Mervyn died in Sydney on 26/03/2000.
Lavina died on 17/07/2010 in Terry Hills.

Dorothy Lavender (1925 – 1992)

Dorothy was born in 1925.

​She married to Ernest Frederick R Thompson in Chatswood in 1948.
Ernest was born on 28/03/1919.

​They had 2 daughters:

​Dorothy died in 1992 in Mount Druitt.

Ernest died in  Kogarah on 16/06/2007.

Josephine Teale Lavender (1928 – 2003)

Valerie Dorothy Purvis (1945 – 1950)

Valerie was born in about 1945 in Annandale. She was 5 years young when she died on 18/07/1950 in Annandale. Valerie is buried with her parents and her brother Peter (1951 – 1982).

Neville John Purvis (1947 – 1947)

Neville was born in May 1947 and died, 5 months young, on 18/09/1947 in the Royal Albert Hospital for Children in Camperdown. Neville is buried at Macquarie Park Cemetery at North Ryde.
