Kendall McCarthy Ferguson (1885 – 1950)

Kendall, known as Roy, was born in Glebe on 26/09/1885.

He married Stella Olive Greentree in Waterloo on 08/10/1909.
Stella was born on 16/04/1893 in Windsor.

​They had 2 children:

  • Anne Josephine N Ferguson (1911 – 1985)

  • Henry Joseph Charles Ferguson (1912 – 1978)

​Roy died on 03/09/1950 in Burwood and is buried in Rookwood.

Ferguson, Roy – September 3, 1950, at Parramatta District Hospital, late of 69 Newton Road, Blacktown, dearly beloved husband of Stella, and dear father of Josie ( Mrs H.V.Brien ) and Harry, father-in-law of Vic, Joyce, and grandfather of Anne, Maureen, Kendall and Narelle, aged 64 years.

Stella died in Blacktown on 06/06/1970.

Anne Josephine Narelle Ferguson (1911 – 1985)

Anne was born in Haberfield on 01/01/1911.

​She married to Howard Victor Brien in Croyden on 01/06/1935.

Howard was born in Parramatta on 19/10/1914 (BDM register is 49035/1913) and baptised in Caste Hill St Pauls on 20/02/1915.

​They had the following children:

  • Roy Howard Brien (1936 – 1941)

  • Anne Josephine Brien (1942 – 2015)

  • Maureen Estelle May Brien (1944 –       )

​Anne died in Charlestown in 1985.
Howard died in Newcastle on 13/07/2000.

Roy Howard Brien (1936 – 1941)

Roy was born in Ashfield on 31/03/1936.
He died on 05/07/1941 at Western Suburbs Hospital, Croydon, Enfield.
Cause of death was Meningococcal or epidemic meningitis.

He is buried at Rookwood.

Anne Josephine Brien (1942 – 2015)

Anne was born in Ashfield on 15/07/1942.
She married in 1961 in Hamilton to Brian Walter Richards.
In 1980 they were both on the electoral roll for Charlestown. Brian’s occupation at that time was plasterer.

Anne died on 02/07/2015 in Speers Point and is buried at Whitebridge Cemetery, Charlestown.

Henry Joseph Charles Ferguson (1912 – 1978)

Henry, called Harry by his parents, was born in Balmain North on 08/10/1912.
In adulthood he was called Mick (according to his grandson Brett).

He married to Joyce Mildred Welton in Canterbury in 1942. Joyce was born in Annandale on 04/04/1916 and baptised n 17/05/1916.

​They had 2 children:

  • Kendall Murray Ferguson

  • Narelle Ferguson

​Henry died on 12/02/1978 in Nambucca Heads.
Joyce died in Nambucca Heads on 04/06/1985.
